Darkstar started life in the horticultural sector, making waves under a different brand.
After finding relative success selling extraction systems, the company wanted to focus solely on extraction systems under the name Darkstar.
'Dark star' is an astronomy term for a star that has a gravitational pull strong enough to trap light under Newtonian gravity. The product itself encases the light within the glass and extracts any air from within the room at the same time. The brand was built around this idea, pulling references from deep space and light refractions emitted from the product.
